Thrilling Loch Lomond Off Road Adventure for Four Guests

Guests absolutely love our half-day Loch Lomond Off Road Driving Adventure. It's an exhilarating off road driving experience, and a fantastic guided tour of the Loch Lomond area.

You'll experience driving our iconic Land Rover Defenders, learning all about the vehicle, and techniques for tackling steep inclines, declines and rock crawls, getting to the very top of the hills for spectacular views across Loch Lomond’s islands. 

Our Kilted Adventure Guides are experienced off road driving instructors and passionate tour guides - they are brilliant characters, with great knowledge of the area and lots of stories and banter.

On the half-day off-road adventure, we always discover two areas, the first overlooking Loch Lomond’s islands, and the second overlooking Loch Long, and the mountain range known locally as The Arrochar Alps.

We start in the village of Luss and follow rough tracks on the steep hillside. The terrain becomes increasingly challenging, and the views across Loch Lomond’s islands become even more spectacular. There are lots of wonderful view points along the way, where we stop for driver changes, and photo opportunities.

We then take a tour through the very remote Glen Douglas to our even more challenging and spectacular area high on the hills above Loch Long. Drivers’ skills are really put to the test on the steep, rocky off-road tracks, and the views are incredible. It’s a very isolated area – all the benefits of strenuous hill walking, with none of the effort!

Our Land Rovers accommodate a maximum of 4 adults per vehicle, plus our Adventure Guide. We do have a couple of 7 seaters, so if there are 2 or more children under 12, then we can take 6 guests in the vehicle.

With 4 drivers in the vehicle you all get good time behind the wheel. If no-one want's to drive, then check out our 1/2 Day Guided Tour of Loch Lomond, where our Adventure Guides do all of the driving, and spend a bit more time on the tarmac, taking in more of the local area.  

We love to tailor the 1/2 Day to your tastes, so it's great to have a quick chat on the phone if possible - we'll get a feel for your groups tastes and requirments. 

We offer complimentary collection around the village of Luss, or we can collect you and return you from your accommodation within 10 miles of the village for an additional £20 each way - this includes Loch Lomond Golf Club and Cameron House Hotel. 

Our Off-Road Driving Adventures and Loch Lomond Guided Tours are not weather dependent so we operate all year round - a bit of rain, mud or snow only makes for an even more exciting experience! "
