VIP ROWING WITH A GB GOLD MEDALIST FOR 3 PEOPLE

This unique experience day has the ultimate and fun rowing challenge giving you the chance to row at Henley and pit your boat of three against the attending GB Rowers who will be laying down a target time of over 250 metres but don't worry your boat of three will have one of the GB Rowers to help you beat the time on your timed sprint.

Meet at a boat club in Henley where you will be welcomed by the GB Rowers who will then quickly take to the water and lay down their target time. The experience then consists of an entertaining Q and A, which will discuss the current state of the national teams and give you an insight into what it takes to reach the highest levels in the sport of rowing. You will then be introduced to life as an elite rower. If required, initial coaching will be done on the rowing machines where advice on techniques will be given. Then to the boat shed where the boat familiarisation will take place. Quadruple sculls will then take to the water complete with a GB Rower in each boat and each crew will have 40 minutes on the water culminating in the -timed sprints as you try and Beat the Medallist. The GB Rowers will be in touch pre event with advice on how to secure time bonuses to help your boat but If you lose you can always blame your GB Rower. You then have a further opportunity to talk with one of the rowers about their career, and get signed souvenirs and photos with the athletes.

Throughout the experience the chance to talk all things Olympic with the athletes and if already a keen rower drain them for tips and advice. This is an ideal experience for those with kids rowing at school or those who row for fun in clubs or at University. A second rowing session with a different GB Rower can also be purchased additionally.

Please note: all prizes are offered in good faith and are non-refundable under any circumstance. The experience is for a minimum of three people. This experience may be offered as part of a larger group for an additional cost. Additional non-rowing guests are welcome to watch proceedings throughout the day and of course, get their photos taken with the Athlete and their medals.
